Just Beginning

Well Jay and I have decided to try this blogging business. It will be such a great way to share our lives with everyone we care about... Of course it will also be a great way to share things with Hannah when she grows up!!

Here is the picture we took when we went home from the hospital with Hannah. I thought this was a good start to the blog. Of course that was 13 weeks ago so we will be missing a few weeks of activities in this blog!!

Hannah is sleeping in her crib right now so I am able to start on our blog!! The sleeper she is wearing is from our good friend Diane who works for Harley Davidson!! And yes it is 11am and she is still in her PJ'S! But in my defense she only woke up at 9am! A good 12 hour sleep. Yippee for Mom and Dad!!

Since Hannah was born she has been in 5 provinces! Can you believe it! She has been on 6 plane rides and has been a real trooper with her travels! Hannah lives in BC. She stopped over in Alberta at the airport in Calgary then traveled on to Saskatchewan where we visited family. She met her Great Grandma Frances there. Gr. Grandma got the hugest smile from Hannah when they met for the first time! That meant alot to me! Grandma also told me that she loved my little girl! Makes me cry now to think of it. Although, apparently Grandma does not remember this, I do and I know she meant what she said. She also met some other relatives who are cousins to us and her Great Grandpa Joe too!! My mom's sisters and brother were out there visiting my Grandma who became quite ill and was and is still in the hospital. She is slowly improving although it sure is a roller coaster ride with recovery. We are all hoping for the best! Grandma is a fighter! I have attempted to download some pics of the family but for some reason it is not working. This will be a work in progress. I am on a high learning curve!!

Hannah and I were there for 4 nights and she did so well. We came home and prepared for our trip to Montreal, the fourth province for Hannah to visit! Good friends, Adam, Jennilyn and their girls moved there. We figured it would be a good time to visit as Hannah's plane rides are free now. We feel bad that we never made it to Powell River when they were living there but our visit with them in Montreal was really special. And the fifth province that Hannah has visited was Ontario. I will fill you all in on that in a while. Hannah is awake now and needing attention. I figure she should be able to entertain herself but she is thinking otherwise.
