Finally an Update!

Well we have been busy with sick kids. Hannah got sick with a chest infection the day we brought Paige home then Jay and Paige got sick. They all got better and just after Christmas Hannah got bronchitis, then Jay got a cold and then me then Paige! Funstuff I tell you! Thank goodness for Peggy and my family. They were a big help. Peggy was here for a week during the thick of our illnesses and helped us all get better! We are now done our antibiotics and everyone appears to be well!

Aside from the illnesses we have been dealing with the holiday season kept in high gear as well! I am not so sure I would recommend having a baby around Christmas to anyone ever again! it was not easy to get all of my lists accomplished and I put alot of pressure on myself and poor Jay! But we got through it and it is smooth sailing from here on in! Not! We are starting to get things in order for the building of our house in April/May! Not too much longer! Also Jay has begun his Partnership and tax season is getting in full swing! He is getting alot of new experiences and if finding it really challenging!

Hannah has been a real handful with hitting Paige and demanding alot. We are really trying to give her alot of extra attention and new experiences. She loves to visit Grandma and Grandpa. She also does love her sister, "baby". But sometimes she is a bit too loving! Hugs, kisses, cleaning off her face, her eyes, putting a bib on her etc... Paige is going to have to start speaking soon! Hannah goes to play with the "kids" at daycare every Thursday and it gives me and Paige some time to do some errands and have some rest time....

Paige is doing really well. Gaining lots of weight, more in the first 6 weeks than Hannah gained! The doctor said she did not have to be seen again till 6 months! She is about 12 lbs now, 22.5 inches long. Paige has her 2 month immunizations this Thursday. I can't believe she is two months old already. She is still in our room but I am attempting to carve out some space for her in our spare room so she can get into a routine of her own soon.

This past weekend we went up to our property to do some measurements then we went outdoor ice skating with Mackenzie while Hannah and Paige hung out outside with Nadine and Aaron. It was a lot of fun. The weather was warm and the sun was shining. We have been cooped up for so long sick and looking after Paige that it just emphasized how much we enjoy getting out!

This picture is usually how it works in our house with Hannah running to the camera when I am attempting to take a picture.

Here is Paige hanging out!

Look at those chubby cheeks!

This is the photo I put in the beautiful baby contest for 2007. Our computer was out for repair and I had to get the photo in right away so I took this pic and developed it!
Jay and I were out on our property and there were these 5 deer right outside where our front porch will be!
Here is our 370 foot snowy driveway! We are going to have to find someone with a plow on the front of their truck to remove the snow or we will need to get one for ourselves!

Here is Hannah wearing Grandma Nancy's reading glasses.

We took the girls for a walk in our new stroller!
Paige had her first bottle when I went out to a movie! It was so great and Paige did really well!

Here is Daddy and Hannah. She was really sick in this picture. Here is our Happy Girl again!

This me multi-tasking which I can't do very often.
This is Paige in her first Christmas Pj's
Paige's first smile day was Dec 23
This is all the Christmas decorating we got done this year!

Paige has heart shaped nostrils....thought you might want to check it out!
Mackenzie had a ballet recital at the beginning of December that we were able to attend!
They did a jack in the box dance that was so neat to see and so much fun!
Here is one of my favorite pictures of Kenzer! We went out to do some sledding. It was Grandma's idea. Jay ended up pulling her because we were so out of shape and could not find a hill suitable enough. Time to start exercising!
Jay pulling Hannah in her sled. She really could have cared less!
Ever tried to have a photo shoot with a 2 week old and a year and a half year old? I wouldn't recommend it! We took about 60 photos and only a couple were good once I cropped and fixed them! Poor Paige was not having fun. I think Hannah stepped on her foot.

This is my favorite photo of Hannah! When did she get so big?
Sisters! And no Grandpa But, Hannah was not choking Paige!

Hello Paige

Hannah loves to have her sister sit on her and snuggle but be ready for when she decides she has had enough. She just gets up and goes without any thought to what will happen to Paige!
Our good friends stopped in over the holidays and we attempted to get a photo of all our girls together! Calli is 5 Marin is 2, Hannah is 1.5 and Paige about 2 weeks.

Paige in her birthday suit having a bath! She really enjoys them!
Tiny hands...

Never buy Hannah a pop up book because this is what happens.... Luckily it was from the dollar store.... She had alot of fun with it!

Cute post! Love the variety of pictures on there. I know about pop-up books!! Calli LOVED the first one she ever got, which was a Princess one and it was ripped shortly thereafter along with "I don't know what happened," at the interrogations! My pictures of our 4 girls are about the same as yours! Eventually they'll sit still and we'll get a good one of the 4 of them. You look great! Nice to hear you're getting out and doing stuff! Good Mommy! Nice stroller!!! xoxo
