Used Kids Stuff!!!

Today Jay and I woke up with Hannah. She was in a very good mood. Usually mornings are her best times! I had an appointment for our car and thought it would be a good day for Daddy and Hannah to have some time together. Not to mention me to have some alone time! So off I went to the car shop to drop off the car. While I waited I walked over to Tim Hortons and had a steeped tea and a toasted blueberry bagel with Strawberry cream cheese. Yummilicious! I then read my book until the car was ready. I also had a chiropractor appointment and if I was needed at home I was planning on going home till the appointment but I was not needed! Daddy and Hannah were having a wonderful morning. Daddy said she was amazing! Even with the most dirtiest diaper duty yet! According to Dad! So I decided I would go on the hunt for some things for Hannah. But I did not want to pay full price for things.

I was very impressed with the two used childrens stores in Kamloops. My finds included a jogger stroller that is rear and front facing so Hannah can watch me sweat or watch the world whiz by! It was $99! I thought that was a good deal. The lady did not realize it was a rear facing stroller as well because it had just come in but she already quoted me the price. It was terribly dirty but she said she could clean it and I could pay $129. Ah, I don't think so! I took it home and used Oxy Clean and the hose and it came clean! Here is the stoller drying in the sun!

I also found an exercauser that I cleaned up for $9. It is nothing fancy but Hannah seems to like it! I have had her in it already today! It was not too bad to clean up but it is good as new. I took off the old worn out stickers and put on new ones we bought from the dollar store!

I also purchased a toy bar for the car seat when we travel as Hannah is not liking the car these days! I wonder how my trip to the island to see Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Bruno will be? Hopefully she will be cured. If anyone has any ideas for the car please let me know! I have decided that I will take my items to these stores when we are done with them so that I can at least make some money back and someone else can get some use out of them! I was really impressed with what they had there.

So after my shopping extravaganza I went to the chiropractor and he fixed me! I was in so much pain the mornings as I had put one of my vertebrae out when nursing Hannah last week. I am cured now!! Yippee! I headed home after that and then Daddy got ready for a golf extravaganza! He left at 1230pm and it is 815pm and he is still not home! It was Men's night. A guy he knows invited him to play today at last minute and he did not realize it was something like 27 holes! How crazy! Who knows what shape he will be in when he gets home! But all in all it has been a great day for our holidays! We will be watching Rockstar soon and it will be a good end to the day!
