Weekend of Firsts

This past weekend we went swimming with Hannah for the first time. Mackenzie, Nadine and Aaron were in town and we all went swimming. Hannah did really well. She was soooo tuckered out afterwards. She had a good snooze on the way home and transfered into her crib easily! She also had her first shower this weekend too after the swim.

When Hannah woke up we all went down to the park and had a mini photo shoot for family photos. I think we got some good ones! It was so nice with the trees changing colors!

We also went to Walmart for Hannah's first professional (if you call them that) photos. What an ordeal that was. We also thought that we should get a formal photo of the family so Jay and I dressed up too. Well, dressed up for us anyway. So Hannah did not sleep well the night before and was up super early and had to have a nap before we even went for the photos. So we woke her up to get her ready and then realized the dress was a bit big around the neck so I had to tack it up and then we were running a little behind. So sweating we got into the car and off we went. When we got there one minute late the girls were not even there for the photos. Okay, so we can breath. I tried to feed Hannah while they got ready but she would not eat so we took her into the picture area. Low and behold what do we smell? Big poopy bum. Hannah only goes about every 4 days or so and that had to be the day! So I ran to the car to get the diaper bag. Changed bum and away we go! Well, they still weren't totally ready. By the time we got the pictures done for Hannah she had had it! The girl did not click them very quickly and missed some good ones but luckily we did get some! Then they said we were done and forgot about the family photos. I reminded her and she took some but Hannah was not having fun. So we decided to go with the ones we took in the park. They are more us anyway. I think we will try Sears next time.
