SANTA!!!
Jay brought Mackenzie home with him for the weekend this weekend. So once Hannah was all tucked into bed Mackenzie and I made sugar cookies. What a disaster that was! We used the Christmas cookie cutters and carefully cut out all of our cookies and placed them on the cookie sheet and put them in the oven and waited. When the buzzer went off we peaked into the oven. They had all expanded and lost their shapes! Oh well, no matter. Nothing a little icing and sprinkles can't fix! Mackenzie seemed to enjoy the cookie!

Today was the day that we wanted to take Mackenzie and Hannah to see Santa. We got up and got everyone ready. We dressed Hannah in her outfit and her cousin decided she wanted to wear the dress she wore last year so that they matched. So we tried it on and it still fit! We took some pictures before we went to the mall.

Mackenzie spoke with Santa first. She asked for a Bratz Princess doll. When we got home and were eating lunch she sighed and said, "Oh no, I asked Santa for the wrong thing!" "We have to go back and ask him for the right thing!" She now wants a Lava Girl Barbie. Not sure they make one but I passed on the info to the appropriate person...AKA Santa!
Hannah did really well for her pictures. Everyone was amazed that she did not cry. In fact she was amazed with Santa! She was staring at him and smiling at him. We all had to get her attention to get her to look at us for the picture. I was so excited when we were waiting to get the pictures. I was really giddy. It was exciting for us!
Here is Mackenzie in the mall car! I think that will be the last time as she is really getting too big for them but I am the Auntie and could not say no! Hope that doesn't happen with Hannah otherwise I am in BIG trouble when she gets older! We drove around the mall for a while. We went early enough to the mall that it was not busy. That was the plan and it worked out really well!
Here is Daddy and Hannah while we were waiting for the Santa pictures to be ready.
Here is the final product of Mackenzie's Angel costume. I had to take it in alot at the bottom and the sleaves but I did not cut the fabric off. She will be able to wear it for a long time to come. We can't wait to see the pageant next week!!!

Sounds like Mackenzie had a fun weekend with you three!! I love the Santa pictures! It's great that Hannah didn't mind sitting with Santa! We still have to take the girls for their picture. I can only imagine what Marin will do... Hopefully with both Calli and Marin sitting together it won't be a disaster! I'll keep you posted!
