Daddy Day!

Yesterday we got all of Jay's stuff ready to go and took care of some stuff around the house. Jay went to the yard waste place and helped some guy move his branches into the pile. He ended up getting hit under his eye with a branch. So he will be starting his new job with a cut under the eye. What happened to good charma? He was helping someone and got hit in the face, how does that work? While Jay was doing all of that I had to take Hannah to the doctor. Her eyes have bugged her the past couple of days. Turns out she has pink eye. Great eh. Apparently kids can give it to themselves by wiping their nose then their eyes. It is the same bacteria. You can see in the pictures that her right eye is quite red. Poor little ducky!

Once all that was done we all spent the day together. I sure enjoy my time with both of them. Jay left today and I was sadder than I thought I would be. Here we go again doing the long distance thing. Not sure how long we will do it. We may rent something up there. It is all for the greater good.

Bathtime! Daddy has been giving Hannah her baths lately so now I am going to have to brush up on them again! She is sitting up now in the tub and I think she is liking it more. We decided to take the yellow rubber duckie away because she was shoving it in her mouth and I think making herself gag!
