Williams Lake Here We Are!!!

We had a fun evening tonight. Peggy is in town visiting us before her trip to Guatemala. Nadine, Aaron and Mackenzie came over for dinner. I slaved away in the kitchen all day...NOT. We had a really nice meal that I did make but was super easy. Peggy and Mackenzie made cheese buscuits. My favorite! For once Aaron did not have to cook for us or bring over the dinner. Which we are not adverse too. When I called Nadine last night to invite them over she told Aaron that we invited them over for scalloped potatoes and ham. He asked if he had to bring that over! No we are not putting in our orders. Not yet anyway but thanks for the idea! After dinner we played with Hannah and Mackenzie. Hannah is not crawling yet but was rolling all over Peggy's (Grandma's) bed. A couple of times she rolled off! No don't worry, we were right there! It was so cute to see her rolling all over the place. Not in too much of a hurry to have her crawling yet. That just adds a lot more things we have to worry about. Once Hannah was in bed we were all playing with Mackenzie. Kenzer was the Mom and we were her kids getting ready for bed. She was amazing. And boy were we laughing. All of us had some problem or another.... needing water, bathroom, throwing up, needing hugs etc.. She was so organized and very vocal to say the least. She can have four kids for sure! It was so much fun! Oh and now we know how her Mom has dealt with her in the past!

It has been a busy couple of weeks moving and getting settled. Our rental is a good size and feels like home already. I even put pictures on the walls. It has been super cold out so Hannah and I have not venture too far. We have just been getting settled here and making a million phone calls to establish ourselves here. We have seen Nadine and Mackenzie almost every day and I have even babysat a few times for them already. Just building up my babysitting points for when we need them to babysit for us!

Here is Hannah rolling off the bed!

Mackenzie and Mommy playing Horsey
Mackenzie is going to be some sort of fashion designer.
She is always thinking up new ways of wearing things. In this case it it a receiving blanket made into a pajama dress!
Peggy and Kenzer making the busciuts
Hannah has been soooooooo hungry lately and so I have been trying to think of things to give her in between meal times. She is not getting any dairy products because of the vomiting reaction she had to cottage cheese so I have been hard pressed for ideas. She has no teeth yet and lots of things have skim mild powder in them. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. So I have started to give her Arrowroot cookies and she loves them! Here is her first one!

I was going through some of her clothes and found this cute hat. So I tried it on her! How sweet! Hannah is dancing while sitting when we put on the music. This is what she was doing when I put the hat on her.
This weekend was Hannah first swimming lesson. She did not like the water as much as she likes the bath. I think it was cooler than what her bath is and the pool area was pretty chilly too. Maybe the next lesson will be better. It is really just for fun!

Daddy and Hannah

I don't know if you can see in the pictures or not but we have been dealing with left eye problem for about six weeks. She has had 4 rounds of eye antibiotics and some swabs and been to the doctor 5 times for the problem. Well yesterday we discovered that it is a blocked tear duct and there is nothing we can do but to massage her eye. And the doctor said it should resolve by one year or earlier. It sure gets a lot of goop from it but we are relieved that it is not an actual infection that we cannot beat. Ah the joys of infanthood!!!! And parenthood but would not trade it for the world!
