Not another Hurricane!
Yes that would be our first born, AKA, Hurricane Hannah. And appropriately named! These past weeks have been a whirl wind. Hannah lets you know one way or another if she has entered the room.... Imagine an almost 2 year letting you know what's what! Leave it to our girl! I think she and I will have some troubles over the years. She is already putting in her two cents about activities of daily...eating, drinking, dressing washing. The eating one is the most difficult. One minute it's I like it the the next is " I don't like it" with a scrunched up face! Also we get into trouble from the almost 2 year old! She will tell us when we are supposed to be sitting, standing, eating..... It is so much fun. And the tantrums! Well, they are kinda funny. I am sure I won't be laughing when she gets older but for now she is just testing waters. She is a walking safety hazard. Bobbi pins in electrical outlets, running towards the busy streets, raisins in the nose, car seats falling down the stairs and making holes, climbing onto the computer table, putting zinc all over her face. She never stops. I am sure she is still moving when she sleeps! Then there are the times she just melts my heart when out of the blue she says, "love you mom!" One day I hit my head and she asked, " okay mom?" then " kiss mom?" then " hug mom?" and then placed her hands on my cheeks and said, "sh, sh, sh"! Wonder where she gets that from? It makes it all worth it to know that they are learning all that from you and we get paid in ways that you can't put a price on! Hannah in her training bra! No people it is not for real she just decided she needed to try one on for size and I thought we would get a really great reaction from Daddy when he got home and he did not disappoint!

Paige is just hanging out as usual! She is the most calm baby ever! She has began to find her voice and makes lots of sounds now! She has also discovered her feet!
We went down to Vancouver to meet my cousin, Michelle and Gary's new little (26weeker, born 2 lbs 9 oz or so...) who is still in hospital. It was so good to see her and meet the wee one! I can't wait till they can take him back home to Kelowna. It was a busy trip. Did a little shopping and I didn't get to visit her as much as I would've liked but at least I was able to see them a bit. It was very hard to leave. The day we were to return home my sister went into labor, early as well about 34 weeks. WHAT IS GOING ON? Anyway she was flown to Kamloops and so off to Kamloops we went! We actually made it there before she did. The next morning we were blessed with a healthy 5 lb something little boy! His name is Braeden and he is soooo tiny. It is very difficult for me as my girls were 9 lbs 1 oz and 9lbs 7 oz. He is soo teeney tiny and doing very well. He was in hospital for 2 weeks and able to go home once his feeding was established. He is now 6lbs 9oz and gaining on Paige! Who is 17 something pounds. I have to stop calling her chunky monkey as I am afraid to give her a complex! She is a healthy little girl! Aside from all the colds she has had this winter!

Speaking of winter.... WILL IT EVER END? We had snow this morning when we woke up... It is almost May for crying out loud! We are trying to build our house sooner than later. There is alot of prep work we have been doing since the end of January and things are coming together! I can't wait to get started! We have been going up to the property and making campfires and roasting marshmallows at least once a weekend when we are in town! Tomorrow is putting up fence day for a little playyard for the girls while we are building to keep them out of the construction area! We will be up there most days and looking forward to getting all that fresh air this summer!
