Grandpa Brent Visits

This morning Grandpa Brent came over to visit. Morning is Hannah's best time. He got some smiles out of her!

Here is Hannah playing in her exercauser this morning! My best and cheapest purchase yet. She loves it!! Yippee! We don't have to hold her all the time anymore! Daddy had a bit of trouble with it this morning. Granted he is not feeling so well today so it is okay. He attempted to bring it into the office earlier and got stuck in the doorway. Luckily Hannah was not in it! Next he attempted to put our daughter in the wonderful contraption and discovered he put her in backwards! Oops! Too funny! It is learning curve over here!

Lately, Hannah has been going to bed at 7 - 730pm like a dream! Usually not waking up till at least 630am! But last night she was up a couple times. She might not be feeling well as Dad and I are feeling a little sluggish today! Hope we don't come down with anything! Thankfully she only ate and went back to sleep right away! Can't complain about that! So we are just taking it easy around here for Jay's week off. It has been really nice for us to be home together as a family and have a bit of a routine together. We have been so busy all summer long, (what's new, right?) so it is good to not have anything planned.

I would have liked to go for a walk, like we did yesterday trying out the jogger stroller but the fire from Tatoosh is causing a huge haze in the air and we don't want to expose Hannah to too much of it. There is an air quality warning out. Better to be safe than sorry!

It was really cute when Hannah woke up this morning. Yes, she was in bed with us, only from 630am to 930am and on her tummy. She lifted her head right up to look at Daddy. It was so cute! Yep we are bad parents for letting her sleep in bed with us and also on her tummy. But as we have discovered - WHATEVER WORKS! She is doing so well and changing all the time!

Lately she has been sucking her bottom lip to cover her bottom gums. Not sure what that is all about but maybe it is her gums bugging her!

I was thinking we should change our website to Hannah's world cause that is all we are talking about. But Jay and I are doing fine and we are loving every moment we have with her!
