Cherrio Girl!
Hannah must be going through a growth spurt because I am feeding her ALL day long! She is still nursing, eating 3 meals a day and snacking on finger foods a good part of the day! SHE LOVES TO FEED HERSELF! Here she is feeding herself some Cherrios. It has been interesting trying to find foods that she can eat herself and I think I have a good supply of ideas now! We are trying new things and she is liking them. She popped her first tooth last week and the next day the one beside it came up too. So the Hylands teething tablets have been life savers for us and her! We brushed her two teeth for the first time tonight! So many firsts!
She has also mastered the 360 degree turn! Still not crawling but that is okay. I have not put the baby gates up! She is laughing so often now. We think she might be starting to have the seperation anxiety. Today she seemed to want to know where I was when I left the room. We went for a long hour walk today and it felt so good. Hannah really enjoys the fresh air. That will come in handy if we do end up with the 5 acre property!!
Here is Nadine pushing Mackenzie down the hill on the side of our rental the other night. They came over and brought Japanese take out and then babysat Hannah for us while Jay and I went to the hockey game with Kirby and Robyn. It was really great to get out of the house!

It was my birthday and Jay and Hannah got me this cake. Hannah also gave Mommy and really nice birthday card. We went for a nice dinner with Hannah, Nadine, Aaron, Mackenzie, and our friends Todd and Theresa. It was a nice time. Hannah was a real trooper as she was up past her bedtime. She did so well. As long as we kept the food coming and the cookies!

You sound like you've been pretty busy in WL!! It's amazing that Hannah is already 8 months old! Cheerios are THE snack to have on hand at that age! The Public Health Nurses usually have a really great list of snacks/food to introduce at this age, which lists them in allergenic order. (which things are highest on the allergen list and are to be avoided until older). If you can't find it, let me know and I'll send you a copy. Also avoid peanuts (which I know you have to already), shellfish and honey...shellfish is until they are 3 or so and honey should be avoided until they are at least 2! This is info from the Naturopath. Anyhow, I've been through 2 kids at Hannah's age, so I'm still fresh with the knowledge!
Kisses to your little big girl! And kisses to you for your birthday! I hope my card makes it without a complete address...long story...Love JL
