the latest news....

Here is Hannah in her new Halloween costume. It the second one this year. Auntie Nadine picked one up for her but the hat came right over Hannah's eyes so we had to exchange it. I think she is ready for the trick or treating! We practiced at Grandma Peggy's this weekend!

Adam is in town and came over for dinner and a visit tonight. Hannah got to play with him and he read her a story before leaving. He called her, "Princess" and she said, "I not princess, I Hannah!" Too cute!
We now have our drywall done and Bruno has all the window trims up. We are deciding what to do with our trims in the main room. There is a ledge on the dining room sill that is continuous in one. The living room side is seperate. Not too sure if we will keep it that way or make them match. Things happen for a reason and you just have to make decisions about what to do with it. It is learing process for sure. Our fireplace has to come out so that our hearth stone can be placed properly. It is crazy that no one thought of this BEFORE hand. Oh well it will get done right! Just another bump in the road to the house being completed!

We went to Prince George last weekend. It was Jay's Grandma Vivian's 90th birthday and all the grandchildren and children were able to make it for a little reunion! It was great to see everyone! Here is Cory, Matt and Mitch!
The Grand kids with Grandma. Only one girl!
Here are the girls with Grandma and the wives, etc..
The great grand-children

So I was telling you about one of the bumps in the road towards building our house. I could not get a hold of the siding people and so I thought I would track them down at their house. When I drove down their driveway this is what I discovered.... Their house burnt down. I have since spoken with them and they are doing well and adjusting. I think they will be starting the siding next week sometime. So will the deck as well.....

More pics of the family weekend.
Daddy and Paige

Grandma had a pet Ladybug in her house and Hannah was playing with it!
Our girls. They are having some real battles. Paige goes after EVERYTHING Hannah has and she is pretty tough and lets Hannah know she wants it. In all fairness I had to let Hannah play by herself today and not have little sister get in her way.....
Paige has just decided she will take a bottle again. She is sucking again! Yay! She is now fully formula fed. Not what I had planned but that is the way it goes. She is a very picky eater. She is still on pureed foods. Doesn't like the texture of real foods. She spits most of them out. Unless of course it is a cookie, rice rusk, cracker etc..
Grandma Peggy and the girls testing her Birthday cake.
Me and Jay in amidst chaos!
Paige and Hannah enjoying the great fall sunshine!

Blowing out the candles!
Taking pics of all of us at once is quite the deal. They were climbing all over the place. This is about as good as it got this day.
The girlies and I!

Our Master bedroom.
Hannah dressed up Paige.
She better start talking soon to let her know what she wants! Paige started to take her first steps last Thursday. She gets so excited when she is walking and she loses her balance. It is so cute to see! Hannah also wants us to be excited when she walks to us too! Paigers room.
Hannah was being sneaky girl. Where do they learn that from and how can I get her to not be so sneaky?

Hannah all dressed up for "shopping".

Hannah's room. I think it is bigger than Jay's and my room.....
Hannah asked for an apple and this is where I found it later on.

Hallway for girls room and bonus room.

So we are on our way with the finishing touches on the house. We don't have siding or a porch yet but should have it soon. The painter is away till the 25 and will start on the 27th. Flooring will start after that, then the cabinets and the last electrical, plumbing, and heating. The interior doors won't be here for a while and the railings are on hold as well. So hopefully they won't hold up anything that is scheduled. We plan to move in November 22 weekend. That should do it! I will post more pics once the walls are painted. Going to do some of the walls next week if we can before the painter gets going....
