And the Trouble Begins....
Last week we had to do some more babyproofing. Hannah has become more mobile and therefore more curious. I had to duck tape pipe insulation on the edges of the brick we have in the rental so that she would not cut open her head. We have the baby gate installed. Last week she got into the cat food. Yummy! She is wanting to touch the electric radiator... too hot. Not sure how to babyproof that yet. She plays with the stereo and DVD buttons. Gets into the shoe rack and spreads them all over the floor. And as you can see.... she has now found the garbage can and perfectly content to play lying on the floor with it on top of her!! Fun stuff!!

Hmmm...Sounds like Marin and Hannah would get along exploring and getting into trouble together just fine!! I don't know what to say about the radiator. Without being cruel, letting her touch it when it is warm might ward her off?! Calli ran into this problem when she was little with our wood stove in PR. She eventually ended up touching it while daydreaming and burning her finger, but she never touched it again!! We kind of make a play out it "Ooohhh...HOT...OUch!!" And continually remind Marin not to touch hot stuff. She will probably end up touching something hot someday, but at least I did what I could to forewarn her!!
