First Birthday!
We had Hannah's first birthday party yesterday! We can't believe that a year has gone by! She has changed so much. She is also finally getting her third tooth! We invited family for the party. Auntie Di came up from Kamloops to celebrate with us and she helped us tremendously in preparing and cleaning up the party. Grandma Peggy, Uncle Brett, Uncle Mitch, Grandpa Brent and Phylis all came up for the party too! Robin and Kirby were able to bring Ben who is 2 months old. Great Nana and Papa, Great Auntie Lorrie, Auntie Nadine, Uncle Aaron and cousin Kenzer were there too!
Here is Hannah's first Birthday cake! You didn't know she liked turtles too? Well she will soon enough! Auntie Di and I had to run out to Safeway the night before to get the finishing touches!

Uncle Brett was making sure she didn't throw her cake on the floor.
I think Auntie Nadine was a little disappointed that Hannah did not get nearly as messy as Cousin Kenzer did on her first Birthday! It was not lack of trying though. This was the first time Hannah has ever had anything remotely sweet like this and she really did not take a real interest in it!
Present time! Good thing cousin Kenzer, Uncle Brett and Daddy were around to help open presents. Hannah was more concerned with the cards.

The day went off without a hitch! Thank you to everyone for the gifts and help. Also thank you for making Hannah's day so wonderful.
Here is Hannah trying out her new stylin bike from Uncle Mitch! The most appropriate gift from her Uncle! It is not a regular tricycle, it is pink with clear tires and a skateboard-like runner on the back! Too cool! It will be a while before she can touch the peddles!
