Saskatchewan
At the end of April, my Mom, Hannah and I ventured by plane to Saskatchewan where we rented a car and drove the flatlands for 2 hours to a little town called Luseland. This is where my Grandma and Grandpa live. We hadn't seen my Grandparents for a while and thought that before I go back to work this would be a good time to do it! Not to mention in the 10 years that they have lived there I had not been there once! They usually come out to BC once a year and I get to see them then but I was not sure they would be coming this year and it was a good time to go! Hannah is becoming quite the little traveller. She does really well on the plane and with some entertainment from Grandma (the chicken dance for instance!) in the backseat she faired the drive quite well!
We could not have asked for better weather when we were there. I don't think I wore socks the entire time we were there and I thought Hannah almost got her first sunburn but NO! Thank goodness. Her skin holds up pretty good in the sun! But sunscreen and long sleeve shirts will definately be a must when the weather heats up more!
Here is our busy girl digging in the dirt! She didn't have too much time to socialize, they were too many things to get into! After a couple of hours we had the house fairly babyproofed! Grandpa had to tie the cupboards shut! What a smozzle that was when we wanted to get something out of them!

Mom, Grandma, Hannah and Grandpa!
Me, Hannah, Grandma and Grandpa! If you were thinking something about my sudden largeness it is not a figment of your imagination, we are pregnant again. Seems as though I popped out much earlier this time around when we were away. I called Jay to tell him my news and I was a little sarcastic about the growth and he said well you are pregnant.... I thought we talked about this.... maybe we shoulda talked some more?..... Too funny! We will be expecting at the end of November! Yes, we are crazy but we knew we wanted another and there is no time like the present!
Grandpa worked with Hannah and her walking everyday. She would only indulge him for a very short period of time! Still working on it Grandpa!
Here is Grandpa being silly and praying to Grandma! As you can see there is something more interesting in the other direction!
Grandpa has played the saxaphone for years. Well he decided to bring it out and play for Hannah. She does not look too happy here! She did not like the sound at all! I wonder why not?
Hannah loves playing with rocks. The only problem is she also likes to lick them and sometimes put them in her mouth. I let her play with them but had to be on vigilent watch the entire time! It was so much safer in the house! Oh and of course there are no pesticides in Grandma and Grandpa's yard. Totally organic and probably only Apple Cider Vinegar! No worries there!

Grandma, Hannah and Great Grandma
Four Generations of Great Women!
Hannah was lying her head down and sucking her thumb just before this picture was taken. She sure does like her Great Grandma and Grandpa!
How much fun are we having? All the attention Hannah got all week was really great!

We went for a walk daily. This particular day was quite warm so Hannah enjoyed baring her legs to the wind/sun! She loves it outside. I had a blanket on her but she decided it was not necessary. She has a mind of her own we are discovering and Jay just can't wait for the battles Mom and daughter will have!
Here is the start of downtown Luseland on a Monday. All stores are closed on Sunday and Monday. Not too much going on right now! The population is only 700 people and they were all very friendly! We even had our groceries taken to the car and put in the backseat. Didn't even ask!
Here are the ladies going for a walk!
I thought this sign was interesting!

Tried Hannah in the playground swing for the first time and she could really care less. She didn't really enjoy the infant swing we had for her when she was younger either!

It was a really good visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Hannah and I usually napped twice a day. We did not venture too far from Luseland except the go to Korobert for lunch one day where Grandma showed us the Hill and Shrine where she was born! There used to be a house on it but no one has built on it since it was torn down hence the Shrine!
