Nimpo Lake
We took out our Travel trailer for the first time this weekend and everything went sooooooo well! Driving the trailer was better than we imagined! We both drove and took our time out there. We did not have to back it into a spot at the campsite so that was a plus and we didn't even have to level it! That will come!
We had all sorts of weather. Sun, rain, hail, and snow! How nice! Fortunately we brought alot of warm clothes and we were able to use the furnace in the trailer. Silly people that we are, we did not turn it on the first night as the RV place told us to only use it when we wake up in the am to warm up. Well that was some crazy advice. We were freezing! So we turned it for the first time at 4 am. The smoke alarm went off! Not too sure why except that maybe it was the first time it was on and had to burn off some excess something.... Hannah did not even budge when the alarm went on! That is a good thing and not so good thing!
There were 6 couples there and lots of kids. Hannah was the youngest and the oldest was 12. It was a lot of fun! Jay got some fishing in and caught a couple of fish on the fly I bought for myself and had recommended using! Cool eh? I did not get a chance to go out. Hannah required some attention. She had a lot of fun moving about the trailer and playing in her wagon and exercauser outside by the fire!

Theresa taking me for an ATV ride. I am not so sure I am cut out for it. I like to go a very slow speed! I drove for a bit and got us stuck on a hill. Scared the "you know what" out of myself and had to get off so she could get us out of there. She said she needed a drink after that! I did too but had to imagine it!

Daddy watching Evan and Hannah play. I am not sure he is having that much fun!

When we left the campground, Jay decided to practice backing up the trailer to get out and he did awesome! When we got home he backed it into our driveway like a pro! We were able to use the trailer and all the ammenities in it! It went so well and smoothly. We were both apprehensive about using it but everything worked out! We are definately going to love having it! Our maiden voyage is complete! Let the good times roll!

Oh and now back to the real world..... I start work tomorrow at my new hospital in WL. Not too sure what I am thinking about all of it yet.... I will keep you posted.
Can you believe our little girl will be a year old in one week? We have some party planning to do! It will be a family affair! Not too sure who will be there but it will be fun!

Happy Birthday, Hannah, and congratulations on becoming a big sister!
I can't believe Hannah is almost one, and you guys are already partially through growing a new one!! Congrats on the trailer and I think it's pretty cute that you are practicing parking it! Good on ya! (Nice English...) I'm glad you had a good time at Nimpo. Wish we were there, but we'll be up in June!!!
It really was great to see you guys in Chilliwack. I know it was a bit of a stretch, but it was nice to spend time with my little "niece?" Ha ha! Love you guys, JL xo
