Special Day!

Yesterday was a pretty special day for me. I took the day off work and spent the whole day with Hannah. Jay is out of town for work so it was just the girls! Hannah and I had an appointment downtown so we went walking for a while before and enjoyed the sunshine. Her schedule has been a little messed up since daycare so her napping wasn't happening so off we went walking! Hannah got her SIN number too! We tried to get a bank account but we had to make an appointment and we did not want any more appointments! The next appointment was for immunizations and that was not so much fun for Mom or Hannah. But we got over it!

When we got home we had a visit from Great Nana and Papa!

How did she get to be a year old?

Hannah's gift from Mom and Dad for her birthday was this sandbox and this was the first time she was able to play in it! She had a blast! I love her concentration look it is so serious. Of course playing in the sand is serious business!

How she ended up with Sand on her hat I am not sure! Well, I guess that is what happens when you throw it in the air!


It was just a really good day all around. With no other household chores etc. to deter us from having some quality time! I had a really good first birthday with Hannah!
